Pros & Cons: “People Also Viewed” feature on LinkedIn

According to LinkedIn, the “People Also Viewed” feature on LinkedIn shows a list of other profiles like yours, for example, other people with similar job titles and industries.
This feature CAN help you find other professionals in your industry and/or area (etc.) to grow your network – good, right?
What this may do for job seekers, is NOT what you probably want: it could help recruiters find OTHER applicants with similar skills/experience to you.
You can choose if you want this feature
to be active on your profile, or not:
1) Select the Me icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage
2) Select Settings & Privacy
3) Select Account preferences
4) Select Change next to Viewers of this profile also viewed
5) Select No or Yes
